Bobby McCray Bobby McCray

After being drafted in the 2004 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars Bobby McCray has built a solid rep for laying the smack-down on NFL Quarterbacks' earning him the name nick name  “Q.B. Killa”. Fresh off a championship season and a year into his five year $20 million contract with his new team, the New Orleans Saints, the 6’6 262 lb. The Who Dat Nation’s Defensive End is taking time to live life like a champion. We caught up with McCray to find out how the big ballers do it around The Big Easy.  We asked McCray what was good about New Orleans and he give us a check list to kick it balla’ style in The Easy.

1. What do you like most about playing in New Orleans?
The fans hands down. Great people and a great city. The fans really take care of you and there’s a lot of loyalty and respect here.

2. What are the Cities’ best kept secrets?
The food and the restaurants can be a best kept secret. You never know how good the food may be at some of the most hidden places in New Orleans until you go in and try it. We have some of the best places to eat in the country, some of my favorites are Ruth Chris, Fauso’s Italian Restaurant, Mr. Ed’s and Austin’s.

3. What are the best places to people watch or kick back with a cocktail?
I like to go the Ritz Carlton in the French Quarter to listen to their live music. Bourbon Street is hands down the best place to people watch.

4. Bobby McCray’s 5 Favorite things in New Orleans
1. The Superdome
2. My teammates
3. Jazz Fest
4. Sculpturz Barbershop
5. Taking my son to the Audubon Aquarium, Morton’s Steak house after a game.
