Inti is a nice change of pace in the DuPont circle area. Some might call it cramped and old-fashioned, especially compared to it's neighbor Lauriol Plaza. I prefer to say that Inti is quaint and cozy.
Inti's menu offers a lot of unique items that may not be easy to find, so go out on a limb and try something new and different. While the pollo a la brasa is good, you can get better elsewhere, so the tacu tacu or the picante de mariscos are what I enjoy the most. I also recently had the chance to get the beef heart skewers which were prepared pretty well; certainly not the worst heart I've have, but it wasn't as tender as I had hoped. The flavor was quite good though, as the marinade they use cuts down on the intense minerally-ness of heart.
